Distinction worked with Netflix at the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis to support a community event at the YMCA featuring basketball, yoga and mindfulness activities. The event was themed about reaching “Avatar State,” the mental state of having a positive mindset and passion for whatever you pursue and coincided with the launch of “Avatar: The Last Airbender” on Netflix. 

Indiana Fever guard Erica Wheeler was one of the 3 athletes to participate in the camp. Wheeler played a game of knockout alongside Myles Turner of the Indiana Pacers, spoke to the attendees and did a meet & greet where she signed autographs and took photos with the kids. 

Wheeler said, “I’m super thrilled to be here to unleash my Avatar state mentality and let these kids know that you can be positive in everything that you do.”
